Just wondering, similar to the MMM-NHL module where you can focus on only 1 team, is that possible in this module? Like for example, just to see the current data for the Yankees?

Damn, this is a cool module! I’m building an MM Sports laptop for someone as a gift and this is already installed. I don’t know how you geniuses do it, but I’m glad you do. I tip my hat to you, sir, and I thank you for sharing this wonderful creation of yours. :clap_tone2:

Can anyone help out in trying to add criteria on only a selected team? I have tried to do it but am not sure exactly what spot in the code this needs to be added.
if games.game.away_team_name === “Yankees” ||
games.game.home_team_name === “Yankees”Was thinking because games is an array do we need a loop maybe?

You can see all the games in a rotating fashion or just see your favorite team[s]!!
IF you have the first version installed simply go to your MagicMirror/modules/MMM-MLB directory in a terminal window and type:
git pull
New config option:
focus_on: [“Braves”,“Yankees”]Please make sure you put in brackets, capitalize and double quotes if you have more than one team separated by a coma like above.

Hi, i’ve tried to install this on my magicmirror running on a pi zero, the module will not load in the browser. Any ideas? @jimmrr i guess you use the midori browser, which cant handle es6 and this module makes use of es6 features

@cowboysdude Thank you so much for your work on this module! I was digging through the code to see how you did it and noticed there’s some code for getting the MLB standings. Is this something that you are actively working on? It would be great to see the scores as well as the standings. Thanks again for a great module!

@Durnumosis Well yes I am working on that part :) I’m running into snags so it’s going to be a while… still trying to figure it all out :)
Of course the standings is part of the voice part [MMM-voice]… I am also working on a standalone standings module… no voice required…

Question guys, I have the focus_on set to “Yankees” but today they happen to be off so all I see is the header, with the MLB logo and the text MLB Scores 04/20/2017. Is there a way to hide that if the team that is set in the focus_on is not playing that day?
