      @YourhighnessLeender @reaper81 I would not advise removing the notification module, since then you wouldn’t be able to see any notification anymore. Instead I would suggest you to remove the lines in the MMM-Facial-Recognition.js file where they call this.sendNotification("SHOW_ALERT", here also something);

        Added an option.
@tosti007 I am not sure its a good idea to advice people to change module code since it makes updating more dificult for them and could also break stuff.

@paviro Yea that’s true, sorry for it, however I also don’t really think it’s advisable to disable the notifications in total. I see an option for a new configurable feature here? :)

@paviro it’s working now! Thank you :) I changed the algorithm from LBPH to Fisher regenerated the training.xml with train.py and my mirror can identify me :-D
            unfortunately I have new problem.
Everything working great until only one person is in training.xml if it’s more then one person face is trained identify mirror the face but the name is always from the last person in the user list.

@paviro Wow, that was realy fast, thanks. Where can I find the new Option? Can you add them in your Github-Documentation?

@paviro every trained face identify as the last person in the user list. If is only single face is trained working the tester without problem. I tried LBPH and fisher algorithm also. Already changed the picam to webcam but I get the same result :(

To update your module i have to use: “git pull https://github.com/paviro/MMM-Facial-Recognition” ?

@PointPubMedia The welcome message means that it shows a notification when changing to a different user.
@reaper81 if you are in the right folder you dont have to give the link, just git pull should be enough

Yeah know that, but since the last update it’s not working even with the welcomeMessage: true

@PointPubMedia I gave a look at his code and noticed he made an small mistake. I will send him a message so the problem should be solved as soon as he sees it. For the time being (which, again, probably won’t be long) you just won’t see a message :)

Sorry guys :D Has been a while since I last coded MM modules… It’s fixed now :)
@benkej Could you provide me a zip containing your complete MM directory?

@paviro You think it would be possible to display somewhere in MM2 the output from the camera at the same time as your module with a “debug” option?

It would be easier to place the camera at the right location while working on MM!

                                      Hello,

Thanks for building this great module. When I run the “npm start” I keep getting the following message:

                                      [MMM-Facial-Recognition] Webcam Found...
[MMM-Facial-Recognition] User undefined with confidence null logged in.

Sometimes it regoonizes my face, but it is like a 1/1000 change. I’m wondering why, when I run the test script my it recognizes my face really fast and always. I uploaded like 350 photo’s. I’ve tryed diffrend back grounds, with enough light.

I just dont understand why it won’t see my face while the test script is 95% of the time right.
