MMM-SunRiseSet

@Mykle1 So any way of getting rid of the images completely? I’ve tried updating the custom CSS as you have suggested on the issue raised on GitHub but I don’t know how to format it correctly for it to take effect. Thanks in advance!
-
@ForeverBrewing Ignore this; I have worked it out. The code that you previously prided needs to be placed OUTSIDE of the “body {}”

It sure does.

@Mykle1
Thanks for your feedback
ok
we need to wait…it is a great module for the kids
Thanks a lot -
For those that be using MMM-SunRiseSet, please forgive the outage of the API. You can still use the module, albeit without the animated images. You can still use the module without the image by adding this to your custom.css file. This will remove the broken link from appearing.
.MMM-SunRiseSet .img { display: none; }Example along with MMM-EyeCandy. Animation is seamless loop in the module

What is that a brain sucker starving to death? LOL
-
Yessir. :-)

Unfortunately, the api for this module is down for at least a few more months along with MMM-Lunartic. MMM-Lunartic continues to work with a temporary workaround.

Hi. Is there a way to show 24hr format of sunrise and sunset times?
By the way, it still works great without images.
-
I added a config option
timeFormat: "H:mm", // "h:mm a". However, I cannot push the files to github at the moment. github is acting weird. As soon as github cooperates I’ll upload the files. You can use any format you like now. Thanks for the suggestion and the kind words.
-
Ok, I beat github into submission. Do a
git pullin the MMM-SunRiseSet directory to get the new files. Take note of the new config option. -
Hopefully, the api will be up and running this summer. That is the api’s current projection.
-
Excellent stuff @Mykle1!!! Thanks for adding 24hr time config option.
-
It was your idea. So, thank you.

Does anybody know if the api running again or has further information about it? it have still the mini icon for pictures on my screen :- (
-
For me, it works fine without images or icons, just text.

The USNO api is still down.
“This US Naval Observatory Website is undergoing modernization and will be offline starting Thursday, 24 October 2019. The expected completion of work and return of service is estimated to be spring, 2021, subject to change due to potential impacts of COVID-19. Please visit usno.navy.mil and submit a Requirements Form to the USNO PAO if the information you are seeking is not accessible via another means.”
-
Thanks @ Mykle1. I hope it will work again in spring 2021.
-
Yeah, so do I. (fingers crossed)

I’ve hidden the image as that is not something I’m interested in (this module works fabulously alongside ones that display a picture of Earth), but I’m assuming the API being down (and me not using it before) is why it has my sunrise/sunset times off (sunrise at ~2AM and sunset at noon)? My lat/long is accurate, double-checked on Google Maps.
