wow, that looks fantastic!

Great blog. Very nice read. Unless there is a lottery win in my future I dont see there being anything bigger.
-
Very nice :)
is there a modul, for the rotating globus?
-
@dominic
Of course, the client specific modules (like the globe) are kept private -
@strawberry-3.141 ok, thanks. Is there a public version, the globe modul is very nice. Because my knowledge of js and programming ist not so god, so i can´t creat the modul.
-
That looks fantastic!
Nice one @MichMich

My next one will be using a 32 inch TV 😉

To implement globe module should be pretty straight forward. However RPI wouldn’t have enough power to handle smooth animations with WebGL, hence the choice to use Mac Mini for this project.
-
@MichMich This is truly amazing work. You have done here. Thanks for all you do with the MagicMirror project.
-
looks very great!
-
I like the earth globe in the middle.
Can you please tell me which module it is and what it does?
Thanks -
@d3r
Of course, the client specific modules (like the globe) are kept privatefrom his blog about it. But it uses WebGL Globe from Google -
What is the module called with the planet? (in the picture main)
-
@wjdw87 You really didn’t read any word of this topic. Did you? 😂
-
Ah, yeah was just :( sad face, ok i know it can be done, but needs to be done my end, can you at least highlight how you managed such a feat? as you can’t O/S the code :( - Amazing by the way!!
-
A link to the globe was posted literally posted in the reply above your question. But don’t sweat it … here it is again: https://www.chromeexperiments.com/globe
