      @ronny3050 thanks for a nice Monitor, i love the wifi indicator.

      You asked for wishes for the Internet Monitor.
      I have been looking in the code if it is possible to give te wifi indicators some color.
      Making strength_full.png green, strength_almost yellow, strength_half orange and strength_non.png red. Would love to see this as an config option of in the my custom.css.

      Is there a way to do this?

          @Advokaten Yes it’s just working as discribed. Here is my part off config.js for the Internet Monitor.

          {
            Module: 'internet-monitor',
            position: 'bottom_right',
            config: {
              type: 'minimal',
              maxTime: 10000,
              updateInterval: 120000,
              verbose: false,
              displayStrength: true,
              displaySpeed: false,
              strengthIconSize: 40,
              maxGaugeScale: 25
            }
          },

          Now I want to bring a little color to the wifi indicator.

            @pjkoeleman Thank you! Using your config lines made it work somehow! I am too interested in changing color of the wi-fi strength png’s. I tried changing all the white levelColors without success. Don’t know what is turning the strength bars into a white color :( Anybody who could help us out? Thanks.

              @pjkoeleman @Advokaten try changing type in config to type: '' from type: 'minimal'.
              Also, thank you for the kind words! :)

                @ronny3050 I’m sorry. I don’t understand if this made any difference other than it took some extra time to load the indicator. Is there a way to change colors in the css file now or what…? Sorry once more for being such a nublet and thank you for taking your time to do stuff like this!

                  @Advokaten @pjkoeleman Silly me, I am sorry, I thought you requested colors for the speed gauges, which are already there. As for colors for the wifi strength indicator, there are two ways:

                  1. CSS coloring (you have complete control over the colors)
                  2. Pre-made images with different colors (colors chosen by me).

                  I am sure 1 would be preferred. I will get back to you in a little bit with my progress on this. Thank you very much for suggesting this.

                          @ronny3050 Option 1 would be quite amazing, yes! Another question, would it be possible to remove everything in the module except for the wi-fi indicator part, to make it smaller and quicker (maybe easier to configure for nubs like me)? Like remove all unnecessary files and coding. I’m afraid I’ll break it if I tinker with it lol.

                            @ronny3050 you could achieve this with css3 filters

                                @strawberry-3.141 Hey bro, thanks for the heads up! I was going to go that route except not sure whether everyone’s raspberry browser supports css3.

                                    I would prefer option #1 as well. So the user can choose its own colors.

                                      There are four images (white) used for the strength. You can find them in the sub-folder ‘images’.

                                        Great Module. Does it monitor the speed of my internet from my modem or the speed that my raspberry pi is reaching? Is there a way to maintain a log of speeds?

                                          @illskool Thank you. It is the speed that your pi is reaching.
                                          I am currently logging the speed and it can be found in your mirror’s logs by typing pm2 logs in the command line. I am removing this in my next update due to the massive amounts of logs produced. You can set an updateInterval for the mirror to refresh and update the speed if needed.

                                            @ronny3050 Thank you for the quick response and for the work you did to create this module. I think its fantastic that I can glance at the mirror and see what speeds I am getting. On a side note, do you think it is possible to display the speeds that the modem receives? I would love to show that and then be able to keep a log. That way I could show my ISP whats up with their lying lol
