MMM-DHT22 Humidity and Temperature Module
-
Dear guys,
Ive tried to run this skript, nevertheless it’s showing me ‘undefined’ when I am running it in MM-Mode.
Ive already checked the Pin setup and it should be right. Furthermore Ive checked your advises in the posts above me.Do you have an idea how to fix this error or even how to get an idea where the error is? :D
Kind regards :)

can you post a pic of your wiring?
when you run the command
sudo ./dht_var
direct in your console, what happens? -
hy
i have also the problem that the sensor shows only undefined.
if i run your dht_var it shows nothing…
sudo ./dht_var 2 5 returns after 5 seconds without any message…found out that it is only not working if i have enabled the PIR-Sensor Modul…
-
@MxBln I have the same question. It works, but it shows me way to high temperatures and humidity. How did you do it with a DTC11 ?
-
same here, shows loading for a very long time and ‘undefined’ afterwards
the sensor is working, see here:
any idea?

Are there any news for this module? I have the exact same thing with this module and the DHT22. Sometimes it shows everything correct and then it shows either “undefined”, nothing or ~ “-3200°C”. So it changes almost everytime it refreshes.
I also use the PIR module like Bangee but it doesnt matter if i have this modules activeted or not …the problem still is there.sudo ./dht_var 22 5
doesn’t do anything. It just returns with no massage like it does by schmo90.
Hope somebody can help us :) -
Hi. I have the same issue, no response in the module or in the command line…
I am also using a PIR sensor, maybe it’s related?
-
@ Bangee
installed modules as described in read.me file but I get no reading of temp or hum.
sensor is working, tested with AdaFruit examplesudo ./AdafruitDHT.py 2302 27 (Data connected to gpio 27)
I get a perfect temp & hum reading, so i’m shure sensor is working.
i’m using an RPI3 - according to wiring pin, wpi 2 = gpio27 = physical pin 13.
I think wiring is OK.only clock and this module installed.

Hey guys :) Hope you are all good.
Finally I have the time to work on this module again :)
I had the same errors like you before and unsuprisingly did not found a solution for it.Is someone in this thread still active?
-
@PaulB - glad you have found some time to work on it.
Yes I still have the problem with reading the data in the MM.
Hope you can find the cause. I would like to help you, but i’m not a programmer.
The only thing I could help on is perhaps some beta testing.
Cheers.
