[NEWBIE] Change In Clock Module Is giving error in config file
-
you can also use https://www.jslint.com/
to check the syntax of the config file…copy/paste it in and at the bottom check boxes for
long lines
single quotes
whitepsace messthe press jslint
u may have to remove the last ‘,’ (comma), before
]

@postremalone said in [NEWBIE] Change In Clock Module Is giving error in config file:
{
module: “clock”,
position: “top_left”,
config: {
timezone: ‘Etc/GMT+5.30’
}
}@sdetweil is correct. You need the comma after the closing bracket, as such
},
With that correction, the config syntax is satisfied and the module will run. However, it does generate this error in the dev console.Moment Timezone has no data for Etc/GMT+5.30.
Please see this for for information.
https://momentjs.com/timezone/docs/#/data-formats/packed-format/And this list. Perhaps you can find an appropriate timezone within this list.

Do i need to type this full “Asia/Kolkata|MMT IST +0630|-5l.a -5u -6u|012121|-2zOtl.a 1r2LP.a 1un0 HB0 7zX0|15e6” in the timezone column ?

I can tell you that those screenshots are impossible for me to read. Please post your code in a code block, instead of a screenshot, so that it can be easily read by everyone.

There is a comma missing after your position line
position: "top_left",
However you could also just set the timezone of your raspberry and ignore this timezone thing in clock module
