    • MMM-MotionEye not working

      Re: MMM-MotionEye - surveillance video stream on your mirror!

      I’m trying to get the MotionEye modul to work, my installation is on two PI’s. I can see the MotionEye stream in the browser of the MM-Pi but on the MM itself I just see a “broken” picture icon.

      This is part of my config:

      	        {
      		        module: 'MMM-MotionEye',
      			position: 'bottom_right',
      			config: {
      				url: "http://192.168.0.150:8081",
      				forcedRefreshInterval: 60000,
      				width: "400px",
      				debug: true,
      			}
      		},

      this is the stream info of my MotionEye PI
      (1.PNG

      this is from the pm2 log:

      [25.03.2023 19:23.37.714] [LOG]   Module helper loaded: MMM-MoonPhase
      [25.03.2023 19:23.37.715] [LOG] No helper found for module: MMM-bernwordclock.

      Any suggestion what I’m doing wrong?

    • pm2 log gets to big (mm-out.log)

      After a while the log file (mm-out.log) of pm2 gets to big (>22Gb) and uses all the space of my sd card. I just delete the file and everything runs fine again. I would like to know if I have to turn of the log or is there something wrong and filling my log?

      I get a calender fetcher event every few seconds

      Calendar-Fetcher: Broadcasting 12 events.

      Is that normal?

    • Password protection in mailbox.org calender link

      Re: Problem with calender
      I managed to display my calender from the provider mailbox.org. To increase security I would link to use the option of my provider to protect the link with a password but I don’t know which auth method to use in MM-Calender config, any suggestions?

      In the settings of the provider I can choose a password but no user.

    • Troubles updating to 2.6.0

      I ran into troubles when updating to 2.6.0, before on 2.5.0 everything worked fine.

      I get errors when update with git pull && npm install, below the npm debug_log

      0 info it worked if it ends with ok
      1 verbose cli [ '/usr/bin/node', '/usr/bin/npm', 'start' ]
      2 info using npm@1.4.21
      3 info using node@v8.11.1
      4 verbose run-script [ 'prestart', 'start', 'poststart' ]
      5 info prestart magicmirror@2.6.0
      6 info start magicmirror@2.6.0
      7 verbose unsafe-perm in lifecycle true
      8 info magicmirror@2.6.0 Failed to exec start script
      9 error magicmirror@2.6.0 start: `sh run-start.sh`
      9 error Exit status 127
      10 error Failed at the magicmirror@2.6.0 start script.
      10 error This is most likely a problem with the magicmirror package,
      10 error not with npm itself.
      10 error Tell the author that this fails on your system:
      10 error     sh run-start.sh
      10 error You can get their info via:
      10 error npm owner ls magicmirror
      10 error There is likely additional logging output above.
      11 error System Linux 4.14.90-v7+
      12 error command "/usr/bin/node" "/usr/bin/npm" "start"
      13 error cwd /home/pi/MagicMirror
      14 error node -v v8.11.1
      15 error npm -v 1.4.21
      16 error code ELIFECYCLE
      17 verbose exit [ 1, true ]

      when I manually try to start via npm start it states that

      > magicmirror@2.6.0 start /home/pi/MagicMirror
      > sh run-start.sh

      run-start.sh: 4: run-start.sh: electron: not found

      so I tried to install/update electon but had no luck

    • Problem with exdate exeption in .ics file

      I have a problem with my .ics file for the standard calendar module. The exeptions “exdate” of an event are stored in the wrong format, it look like this:

      BEGIN:VEVENT
      DTSTAMP:20181120T052855Z
      CLASS:PUBLIC

      END:VEVENT

      but they should look like this:

      BEGIN:VEVENT

      Since these are wrong, none of the calendar elements are shown. Any suggestions how to change that?

    • MMM-Calender with share of mailbox.org calender

      I’m changing from gmail to mailbox.org and I’d like to add my calender like I did with gmail. Unfortunately from my new calender provicer mailbox.org I can’t get a .ics share, the only thing I get is a link looking like this https://share.mailbox.org/ajax/share/… or the CalDAV link looking like this https://dav.mailbox.org/caldav/… Is there a way to feed my MMM-Calender (or maybe a different module)?
