I use MMM-EyeCandy on my mirror and put the url of the animated weather radar image as the source. I have the module update and fetch the latest radar image every 15 minutes.

RE: Ecobee
Awesome!! I looked all over on your github repository for a place to create an issue but I just could not find a way. A google search brought me here and since you had commented recently I thought I would just post here. I’ll head back over to the repository and see if I can find where to submit an issue. Thanks!

RE: Ecobee
Thank you for the updates to keep the module working with the new api changes! I am wondering though, is there anyway you could add the ability to hide the humidity and the set temperature in the thermostat readout? I would like to just have the actual thermostat display the current temp like the sensors do. On the original module I just commented out certain lines to make them disappear but the new code doesn’t look the same. Thanks again.

Check out MMM-DarkSkyForecast. It’s fantastic!

RE: MMM-EyeCandy not refreshing
@mykle1
Your module is working just fine. After hiding other modules one at a time, it appears that the module MMM-ecobee is preventing the EyeCandy module from refreshing. I don’t have any experience with coding so I can’t even begin to figure out why this might happen but I appreciate your help in solving this for me. If I use the auto refresh module to refresh the entire mirror every 10 minutes everything seems to work okay so I guess that is what I will have to do. Thanks again for the help and thanks for the EyeCandy module!! -
RE: MMM-EyeCandy not refreshing
I sure can, it’s http://images.intellicast.com/WxImages/RadarLoop/dsm_None_anim.gif
Thanks for your help! I let it sit for over 2 hours last weekend and the timestamps on the radar images never changed. The site updates the loop every 15 minutes roughly. -
MMM-EyeCandy not refreshing
I just started using MMM-EyeCandy to show a radar loop gif on my mirror but it only loads the initial loop and never updates it at the set interval. The radar gif is too large for and iFrame so MMM-EyeCandy is perfect for scaling the gif down to better fit my mirror. Anyone else using this module with success?

RE: MMM-DarkSkyForecast - Yet ANOTHER weather module
Sure. It’s only showing 2 incorrect icons tonight.
