You can increase the amount of entries that the default cal displays any good? In the read me it says maxEntries or something to that effect

Could just use VNC to connect to it with your phone that way can change stuff from the sofa shut down reboot open web page, but the pi isn’t/hasn’t got real power but not bad it will do my mirror stuff so not bad

@j33p4meplz Hi i’m in the same boat i’ve sourced almost everything i’m going to use atv and then MMM-voice to put it to sleep and wake it up i’m using a PS3 eye which is working fine to switch off the modules or HDMI output of the pi the TV will then switch off after 15min i’ll change this in the TV settings to 5min if it has that setting. You gonna run it via ethernet? Got a switch thats going in mine too so i can run other internet devices ie plex ect, Ive got a switch and script on the pi with a button so i can turn the pi on and off as it should be shut down safely the script is executed and powers down boot up is the same but can turn on the tv from its standby mode

    • RE: Wifi-power socket

Wifi plug won’t shut down the pi correctly and could corrupt the sd card, i thought about that then went for a switch as you can shut down and boot up the correct way, especially if the pi locks up for some reason https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4nTuzIY0i3k

@michael5r Hi yeah thats what i mean but that has shifted it further to the right and only the Nest protect battery stuff i need to move it in the opposite direction finally figure how to take a screen capture lol here is what i mean hue status lower right, the more bulbs you have the worse it will get as it moves up when bulbs are turned on! PS speeds aren’t this slow changed the config file for the speed test and it knocked of a zero so it was a 4 second test lol 0_1544518147439_2018-12-11-084242_1824x984_scrot.png

@michael5r cheers but its not that everything else is solid you know where you have the smoke co2 and temp for the themostat on the right i just need that whole thing pulling a little to the left towards the names of the devices, im failing at explaining myself lol

    • RE: MMM-Nest-Status - New module for your Nest thermostats and protect smoke detectors!

@michael5r hi once again great module, it’s not really the text. I’m on the list display, it goes across the whole screen, I would at least like it to be reduced to the middle/centre so it leaves the weather display on the right that way when my hue lights turn on it doesn’t clash an two when I get more nest protects it doesn’t get into trouble does that make any sense? Once again thanks I saw other modules and I was like nope, saw yours and I had to do it lol 😂

@dazza120 Done just done a New Oth as from my limited understanding i would have to reauthorise the other devices of that Oth easier to do a new Oth. Anyway this just cost me 3 Magic Mirror modules as this is a must i would love to be able to shrink the text type down as when my Hue lights start going on they clash :( BRILIANT MODULE Love it!

    • Black Screen Of Death After Couple of Hours

Hi, as per the description, my magic mirror seems to go black screen after about 6 or so hours the first time i done the magic mirror on the Pi 3B+ the SD corrupted its a Sand disk 32Gb extreme, Pi is connected via ethernet and connection via VNC server. Im a Noob so be gentle :) ive looked every where for a solution other than starting a cronjob every 6 hours which is a pain as ive installed MMM-voice and want to control it through that but cronjob pm2 restart mm, loads everything afresh again meaning you have to change it to voice mode and all modules are displayed.

List of Modules MMM-NetworkConnection, default cal to UK, clock, weather forecast, current weather all default ones, updatenotification has been deleted from config.js. MMM-GoogleMapsTraffic, MMM-Hue and MMM-SystemStatus. So the magic mirror screen has gone black and its still open just alt-m and im connected via VNC and typing this on my iphone via the Pi so im actually doing this through the pi with 5chromium pages open and terminal so the pi itself hasn’t crashed. Ill post a log to the crash hopefully someone can help me out but seems that the black screen of death is not a new thing but still cant find a solution to it. thanks in advance for your help.
