You can check right syntax for your system by trial&error on commandline in terminal window.       Many thanks, works a treat. only outstanding issue is the screen back-light remains on with a glow at night, otherwise all working great. thank you

      @eyesallin in the node_helper.js browsers cannot access the system directly. the node_helper is the mm solution for that

      @bugsounet thank you changing to pir_mode 1 fixed the problem. Just for awareness I am running on a RPi 3 B+ Rev 1.3 hence why I didn’t do this sooner.
