@frits-erasmusthe default calendar does not display events from the past, ever. other add on modules that display a wall calendar view will do that.

Thanks Sam for that info. Although I do not understand it 100% it gives me an idea why there is an issue with that module. I started from scratch and this time took it slow. Used your script on your github page made the install so much cleaner. THANKS for your effort there!!

Thanks for trying to help me, but I have given up now. I will just buy a monitor that conforms with standard RPI Raspbian OS
