I did it again and have now made advance payments again because I believe in the good in people and the community. these are entries that have been on the list for a very, very long time. It would be disappointing for those concerned if the respective entries had to wait for the next bulk order and I don’t want to annoy anyone. It is a total of two mirrors that have not yet been paid for. I hope I made the right decision…

Now the good News: I commissioned the production of the mirrors this morning :) the production time is currently 4-5 weeks. In the meantime I am already building all the shipping boxes so that the mirrors can be sent out to you all within 2-3 days of arriving at my place :)

Okay, since there is probably interest I would like to give an update at this point, even if it is probably relatively uninformative for you :)

The delivery of the mirrors to me is announced for the week of 07 - 11.06.
Until then, I will definitely have the boxes ready, so that I only have to pack the mirrors safely and “nail them up” afterwards. However, the box construction is much more elaborate this time, because many of you wanted to exhaust the maximum size in all different dimensions and therefore I have to build a lot of special boxes. I cannot (as usual) fall back on 3-4 standard dimensions in order to build at least a few identical boxes. Every frame part, every cut, etc. is individual ;) More different dimensions, cuts, etc. But I’m fully involved and everything is going according to plan :)

And no, unfortunately the missing payments were never received and I will probably be sitting on two mirrors again…

The mirrors will arrive today :)
I took today off to pack all the mirrors immediately and neatly into the already prefabricated wooden boxes and in the optimum case to bring them to the post office this afternoon or tomorrow morning :)

Maybe one or the other has then the mirror before the weekend in his hands ;)

For your information: Depending on the shipping service I have to wrap an additional cardboard box around the wooden box. This has no function and is only prescribed to avoid wood splinters or the like. So don’t be surprised if the mirror arrives at your place and this cardboard wrapping is damaged due to the often not squeamish handling of the parcel carriers. The only important thing is that the wooden box itself has no massive visible damage :) If the box has such damage, I ask you to document this immediately upon receipt together with the parcel carrier, so that in the event of a claim can be made on the shipping insurance ;)

Nothing new today. The manufacturer wants to calculate it again and announces tomorrow or Monday again. The conversion of the production is very complex that is why he need normally a min quantity of 20 squaremeter. Otherwise it does not pay enough. But he promised me to do his best to find a better solution with regard to the minimum order quantity. We will see, I am optimistic :)

It is now after 22 clock and since we have reached the 15 square meters, the order is now closed. I think all of you should be absolutely happy now :)

Here are the most important facts at a glance:

• Price: 296 € / m2
• polished edges 7,30 € / m
• When shipping the shipping costs are calculated separately for each individual. These costs include the price for shipping and the material like styrofoam and wood for a suitable and safe crate that I will build.
• Payment by advance payment, since these are special custom-made for each individual.

Please confirm the order again. After everyone has confirmed their details, I will inform each one of their total price with the shipping charges and the bank data by private message.

Nice that you are interested in the mirror too. Unfortunately I do not know whether it is fair since the order is actually completed. I would like to give you the chance, but would like to wait and see what the other members say. From me you can still participate as there is still sufficient time. But I would like to hear the opinion of the general public, since I would like to treat everyone the same.

You are absolutely right. I just want to avoid the later someone says “hey you had a deadline set and then you do not stand to it. That’s unfair. If I had known that before then I would have had more time” or something like that. So I wanted to ask you so I do not decide this alone.

For me a mirror more is no problem. If I make someone happy with it, I am also happy. :)

What do you think of this proposal: I drive the mirror to Frankfurt where I meet with @olexs and @gustav1976. He takes his mirrors and the mirrors from @Binog and @yawns to Koblenz, where one of them takes the mirrors and bring the mirrors to Cologne. Would that be interesting for you? I think this would be the cheapest way for you all and the mirrors would be transported personally. What do you mean?
