@cowboysdude I have the frame built but I have to shave it down a bit to fit the monitor. It’s a 30in old piece of crap, but it works.

RE: MMM-MirrorMirrorOnTheWall - Alexa voice control to hide/show modules and display text/images
@Gunwoody I gave up on it too. The git is not user friendly and there’s no step by step guide. Pit that together and I’ll come back.

RE: -=]!Show Your Module Setup![=-
@Mykle1 Looks Great! Could you post your config.js file so I can see how you have stuff setup? I’m curious to see how you setup multiple news feeds in the same module.

RE: MMM-AlexaPi
@Davepre ask for help here: https://gitter.im/alexa-pi/Lobby
These guys helped me. I recommend installing v1.4, instead of the current 1.5. Then during installation, install it as magicmirror instead of raspberrypi. After installation, open the config.yaml file and change the output handler from vlc to sox. -
RE: MMM-MirrorMirrorOnTheWall - Alexa voice control to hide/show modules and display text/images
@zman3 It’s because there’s no guide. It’s just figure it out yourself. You know this isn’t a well-organized module when you look at how many posts/replies are in it.

RE: MMM-AlexaPi
@johnnyboy if you need to rename a file
mv config.template.yaml config.yaml
. If that doesn’t work, putsudo
in front of it. -
RE: MMM-MirrorMirrorOnTheWall - Alexa voice control to hide/show modules and display text/images
@d3r I see that, and that is my problem. There is no guide on how to install it. If you want people to use it, help them install it. Sounds like a great product that I would love to have, but it’s not user friendly.

RE: First Build - 30" w/ custom frame and AlexaPi integration
@cowboysdude no. I like the black and white look.
