@KristjanESPERANTO Now that’s a whole new approach. Thanks, it works!

RE: Introducing MMM-YouTubeWebView Module
@doctorwhen Is there a way to control a video’s volume? I embedded the ISS’s livestream and I would like to mute it since every once in a while some radio chatter is on the audio channel. When I have the module hidden it is kinda eerie.

RE: Can't control CalendarExt2 with Scenes2. Hide indicators.
@mmmmh OK, Here’s what I did: I can control everything else with Scenes2 and for CalendarExt I use Remote-Control’s REST API.

RE: MMM-Scenes2
What do I need to configure to have no indicators and no need for an region for them?
(I am not sure if this is considered necroing a thread but I see other module discussions also going on for several pages. If this thread should end, I asked the same question here.)

RE: Can't control CalendarExt2 with Scenes2. Hide indicators.
@sdetweil Thanks for mentioning that. I am aware of Ext3. But I have customized everything (CSS etc.) so that it works smoothly. OTOH, if you mean that Scenes2 would work with Ext3 I would give it another look.

Can't control CalendarExt2 with Scenes2. Hide indicators.
I can toggle between two scenes just fine but CalendarExt2 ignores the scene assignment and its calendars are always visible. Is there anything I can do about this?
Also, don’t need indicators. Is it possible to run the Scenes2 module without assigning it to a region?

RE: MMM-Touch or similar without visible module
@MMRIZE said in MMM-Touch or similar without visible module:
@mmmmh
useDisplay: false,
Yes. I think this does it. In the beginning I thought it just disabled visual feedback but it seems it actually hides the module. I’ll test it some more and will come back.

RE: MMM-Touch or similar without visible module
@sdetweil that’s the challenge, I need something that has no visible representation but is doing its job. I could experiment with custom regions and custom CSS. I have done this in the past but I am wondering if there is a cleaner way.

RE: MMM-Touch or similar without visible module
@sdetweil I want to execute shell scripts to turn the screen on or off. The swipe gestures from MMM-Touch also look nice, but, as I wrote, MMM-Touch adds a visible module on the screen which I don’t want.
