    • MMM-pages: Changes in config does not change the mirror display, only the browser view

      Hi everybody,

      I installed the MMM-Pages and MMM-page-indicator modules and set them up in my mirror config.js.
      As you might know, there are to possibilities to view your magic mirror informations.
      1.) you can open your magic mirror in any browser by typing your ip:8080.
      2.) you can see everything on your mirror itself.

      The problem starts with the mirror view itself. It doesn´t matter which modules I choose for page one or two. The mirror does always show them all. If I open the browser based view everthing is fine - I see two different pages.

      When I start the command to change the pages, it works fine on the browser based view as well.
      On my mirror itself only the page indicator moves but the content does not change.

      Just to be sure, I moved the clock module from left to right, which is shown correctly on both views. So I guess the problem must have to do with MMM-pages only and not with my config in general.

      Do you have any idea to fix or even just locate the reason?

      Thank you for helping!

      Greetings.

    • RE: MMM-Podcast don't show/load the latest video

      @cruunnerr
      I just tried another video just to be sure: omxplayer /opt/vc/src/hello_pi/hello_video/test.h264
      This time it does show some text, but still no video.
      The text is:
      Video codec omx-h264 width 1920 height 1080 profile 77 fps 25.000000
      Subtitle count: 0, state: off, index: 1, delay:0

      However it does not quit. There is no “have a nice day” but it still shows nothing.

      @cruunnerr
      Thanks for helping us.
      I tried the code. The player doesn´t show a video but says “have a nice day” in the command line.
      I reinstalled it with

      • sudo apt-get purge omxplayer
      • sudo apt-get install omxplayer

      Unfortunately it does not help. It is still “have a nice day”.
      Any further ideas?

      @fox
      Thats interessting. I just realized your screenshot above.
      In my case it does not show anything.
      Can you please post the part of your config?

      Where do I find the error.log?

      Thanks

      @fox
      No. Unfortunately not.
      I don´t know what the issue is. The area were the module should be, is just black.
      Nothing happens.

    • RE: MMM-DWD-WarnWeather - Wetterwarnungen

      @m0bed
      I had the same issue.
      However, before the update “Region Hannover” worked well.
      Now after the update I had to change to “Hannover” without region which shows the weather for the city of Hannover instead of the region.

      So I guess you DWD-Name must be wrong.
      Maybe you might give another city a try, just to check the modul.

      Greetings.

    • MMM-page-indicator: No marked indicator when changing pages with remote control

      Hi everone,

      I am using the remote control modul to control my mirror.
      Everything works fine except one little thing. I use the MMM-pages and MMM-page-idicator modules.
      On mirror start-up I can see the two page indicators: a white one for the opened page and a black one for the other “closed” page. The two icons are as default.
      I change the pages using the command: http://ip:8080/remote?action=NOTIFICATION& notification=PAGE_CHANGED&payload=%221%22. It works fine but however the two page indicators turn to black. So I can´t see the selected page anymore.

      Do you have an idea?
      Thanks a lot.

    • RE: MMM-Podcast don't show/load the latest video

      Hi,

      I am not sure if I should open a new topic, but somehow it fits here as well.
      My MMM-Podcast does not show any video at all.
      I use the default feedURL like shown above.

      Is it correct that the modul does not show anything on startup or is there a picture of the linked video shown?
      I do not have MMM-Button installed, but it should work with “http://IP:8080/remote?action=NOTIFICATION& notification=BUTTON_PRESSED” as well.
      Sending the command my browser says “success” but nothing happens. It always shows nothing.

      Can anyone help?

      Thank you.

      The apache server is for some smart home function.
      Has nothing to do with the MagicMirror … yet;-)

      @broberg

      Now it works like a charm!
      Thank you very much.

      I compared my config.js with your code. The [address: “”,] was missing.
      What does it do?

      I deleted my code and inserted yours in total and that was it.
      The strange thing is that I did not changed anything in the config. So maybe it might be because of the update.
      Now even my portscanner detects the port 8080.

      Thanks again.
      I´m very happy.
