      @Damian
      Use PS3 eye without any problem, in a mini PC, clean and clear sound.
      I use it now with MM (snowboy) and Kalliope independently. It is conectdo by USB and the response is immediate. In Pi I have not tried it yet, it will be next week. And the fundamental reason, apart from the quality of micro and camera, were those € 6 ($ 7.3) that cost me.
      I had a mic connected by 3.5 but it produced a horrible noise. As I did not want to spend a lot of money, and with 2 PS3 eye I could also do 3D stereo camera tests.
      I just wanted to contribute my experience. Everyone decides the best

      I was looking for a good microphone and, after seeing this comparison: https://medium.com/snips-ai/benchmarking-microphone-arrays-respeaker-conexant-microsemi-acuedge-matrix-creator-minidsp-950de8876fda
      I decided to buy 2 PS3 eye. 4 microphone array system.
      I manage MagicMirror perfectly from 100 inch. Very interesting price 6 $ each. And the webcam 120 fps!

    • RE: fs.stat SyntaxError: Unexpected token

      Yes, I had imported it with const fs = require ('fs');
      but I was not creating the function well in the right place. Thank you.
      It’s crazy what I want, I know. I want to connect Kalliope (modular always-on voice controlled personal assistant) - https://kalliope-project.github.io with MagicMirror. I find it a very powerful and flexible tool. The program I already manage it well separately and I have created “neurons” and “events” … etc, but it would be wonderful to interact with MagicMirror modules.
      Lights, sensors, temperature, webcam, notifications, reading email, music … etc, that I already have it integrated in Kalliope

    • RE: fs.stat SyntaxError: Unexpected token

      fs is included by default in nmp.
      I do tests because I need to verify that a text file exists in the module directory when an attempt was made to create.
      I am not an expert in programming and I am trying with the functions that I find online. Always it gives me that error, although in the forums seems to work. In this environment, it gives me problems.

    • fs.stat SyntaxError: Unexpected token

      Hello everyone,
      I try to apply fs.stat to find if a file exists but I constantly get this error:

      fs.stat((err) => {
        ^
      SyntaxError: Unexpected token .

      Can someone help me how to fix it?

      Mirko3000,
      excellent module, I am about to receive the gateway. Now I have several RGB yelight bulbs and two Wi-Fi sockets.
      I hope you add someday the management of sockets and yeelight.
      At the moment I am managing it with scripts.

    • RE: MMM-ImagesPhotos - Show images from a directory

      I like this module, but I would like it to start hidden by default in order to add the possibility of making it visible with voice command (use alexyak / voicecontrol). I have tried several options but I have no results.

    • Kalliope - modular voice controlled

      Hello everyone
      I have tried several voice control modules and none completely convinces me.
      I am also testing in Linux with a project that could be very interesting if it could be adapted to Magic Mirror. It is fast and efficient, and with Wit.ai (STTS) and pico (TTS) there are no time limits, with an efficiency of 100% in accuracy.
      It’s called Kalliope: https://github.com/kalliope-project/kalliope
      Try it independently, it will surprise you

      I am installing some modules that I like very much.
      The MMM-Art module is impressive, if it worked for me, it gives me this error:
      API key is correctc.

      MMM-Art.js:84 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘url’ of undefined ----> img.src = Art.WebImage.url;
