bummer. this is pointing to a bigger problem, SD cards are notorious for failing over time…
they have a fixed number of writable bits, but are write once… so that last place u wrote is marked as used.
when we start to see these weird behaviors, its been the SD card failing…
@Stef my guess is that it’s something with the Spotify api that you set up. If you are seeing the logo but it’s not recognizing when you play music to me it’s a config issue with Spotify or the form thing from the module owner that isn’t right. Was pretty easy to set up. Do a search on the board too. I know there is a multi page thread elsewhere
@Stef Hi, yesterday i added two Modules to the Showcase Area. On that monitors GPIO Pins and one which controls the Monitor.
My usecase is exactly like yours. I use an PIR sensor to detect user presence and want the screen to be turned off after a configurable timeout.
