Hey guys! I got a nice MagicMirror but have one problem. I need sound. Specially if I stream news or something via the podcast plugin, I don’t have any sound because of missing speakers. Is there any chance to forward the sound to my GoogleAssistant which is also in the same room? Use the GoogleAssistant as an remote speaker?

Is there a module to show up an video from an web url? I want to say “Good Morning” to my mirror via voice control, and he should play an podcast or something and hide the video after played once.

No, this doenst control the mirrir. It just show messages on the screen…

i search for a sensor who is working through my mirror glas! I dont have any solution for that!

I want to push a button (like proximity sensor behind the glas) who is detecting a finger or whatever a few mm or cm in front of the glas on a position. It dont have to be very acurate… its also enough when the sensor is working in a bigger area of a screen, but not like the mircorwave sensor who is working from 2-20m.

Has anyone an idea?

I need exactly this! i couldnt get this module work until now. What is your expirience with eather of this modules?

The one from mochaman is starting fine in sudo, and the sensors recognice my hand in calibration mode, but in vebose mode it doesnt work at all! It just happens nothing.

The other module from shbatm is running without sudo but not starting completly… showing just Loading MMM-Swipe...

I installed the new version from MMM-Swpie … its an upgraded MMM-Swipe version to run without sudo or ect. MMM-Swpie from shbatm

Unfortunitly it looks like the modul does not work for all users. In my case the module dosnt load correctly. It just showes up Loading MMM-Swipe... in CALIBRATE MODE.

To make this message gone, i found these in the code:

    notificationReceived: function (notification, payload, sender) {
        if (notification === 'DOM_OBJECTS_CREATED') {
            this.loaded = true;
        }

but i really dont know how to debug this now…

i rebuild all these fantastic stuff and installed the MMM-Swipe (Original from @mochman ) and now its starting fine ect.

I can also see the two different sensors in the calibration mode detecting my hand act , but i can’t get any response in the verbose mode… it only shows me WAITING FOR MOVEMENT. Not more… is there any way to get more information for debugging?
