      I don’t know that it matters, but I’ve done all my MM installations while directly connected through ethernet, (not wif-fi). Also, in lieu of the automatic install script, I’ve done manual installations that were error free.

      If you don’t find a solution here, you could try deleting electron and reinstalling just that, as it appears the errors are electron based. If you are forced to start again from the beginning, I recommend following the tutorial precisely.

          I installed electron@1.6.9 and it works.

                    Found the solution for the problem:

                    Automatic installation script run through if I make the following:

                    This should be fixed now, I’ve added these missing entries to the file at https://github.com/electron/electron/releases/download/v1.6.10/SHASUMS256.txt

                    You will need to delete the cached ~/.electron/SHASUMS256.txt-1.6.10 before re-installing, please confirm if it now works for you.

                    (Author for Electron has written on his github)
