                Found the solution for the problem:

                Automatic installation script run through if I make the following:

                This should be fixed now, I’ve added these missing entries to the file at https://github.com/electron/electron/releases/download/v1.6.10/SHASUMS256.txt

                You will need to delete the cached ~/.electron/SHASUMS256.txt-1.6.10 before re-installing, please confirm if it now works for you.

                (Author for Electron has written on his github)

                  @Lausbuab1 Tried downloading 1.6.9 and got this

                  pi@raspberrypi:~ $ sudo npm install electron@1.6.9 -g
                  /usr/bin/electron -> /usr/lib/node_modules/electron/cli.js

                  > electron@1.6.9 postinstall /usr/lib/node_modules/electron
                  > node install.js

                  /usr/lib/node_modules/electron/install.js:47
                    throw err
