MMM-Todoist - Your todoist tasks on your mirror
-
@Sunburned No you do not need the premium Todoist account for the module to work.
-
@MasonT3 I wrote a fix to the ‘no due date tasks’ so they will sort to the end. I think Chris Booker hasn’t had time to implement but the fix is available at my MMM-Todoist fork at: https://github.com/tkotz8105/MMM-Todoist

So i have tried:
- Updating the fetcher from https://github.com/tkotz8105/MMM-Todoist
- Putting my list number in the MMM-Todoist.js file rather than the config file (my list number is 10 digits btw, not an issue but i thought it was odd as all the samples had 9.)
- Changing the Access token
- Deleting and recreating the module
- Deleting my todoist account and recreating it
I am currently at a loss.

So the plot thickens. I have a cron job that restarts my mirror at 2am every day. I get home from work today and my mirror shows the 2 test entries I made when setting up my new todoist account, but they will not update. So those entries will not be removed and new entries will not be added, even when restarting the mirror.
-
Do those two entries have due dates associated? Mine did some weird things until I assigned due dates to each entry… and subsequently added tkotz8105’s fetcher fix.
-
@Sunburned I find that sometimes happens as well… some changes I make (deletions, additions, mods) don’t make it to the mirror. I do not know why that is happening and have not looked in any detail on it. When you say that you restart the Mirror at 2 am… is it a system reboot? I do the same and when it all starts back up… the tasks are there and properly sorted.

Thanks for the responses everyone.

Yep the entries all had due dates, and I also did the fetcher fix.tkotz8621
2am is a full system reboot of the raspberry pie that then restarts the mirror. -

So finally progress. I noticed that when the mirror was starting i was getting that EADRINUSE :::8080 error. I dug around a bit and removed some old modules that I either didn’t want anymore or decided not to use and flushed the PM2 logs, no more error on loading and todoist is working.
The only issue now is the same thing that used to happen with wunderlist. If i add items to the list, they get added fine. If i remove them they do not come off. But if I remove something and add something else the removed item will be removed when the new item appears.
