      @kvicksson

      I saw in another thread that it is showing the number of posts specified in the config, but on a per calendar basis. I wanted to show 15 events total, but with 8 calendars it is trying to show 120 events. I went into the config file and changed it to 4 events and now it is showing 32 total. More than I had originally but still small enough that it fits on my mirror. Hopefully an update will return it to a configured Total.

        @gripworks I’ve already tried this and unfortunately it didn’t work for me with two calendars :(

          Did you put maximumEntries after each URL call like below?

          url: ‘https://google.com/public/basic.ics’,
          maximumEntries: ‘10’,

            No I didn’t. When I set it up last year, I must have missed that. I’ll give it a try. Thank you.

              You didn’t miss it. It is a change with the most recent update.

                Default value for maximumEntries is 10. How can the calendar module display infinite number of events because not setting maximumEntries option?

                regards,

                  The maximumEntries setting now applies to each calendar rather than globally. So if you have 5 calendar URLs then you get 50 listings (if the default is set to 10). Before the change it would show the most recent 10 events from all of your calendars.

                    Everything works after setting maximumEntries after each URL. I don’t like it though because it doesn’t show the 10 upcoming items due to where the items are in time. But guess I have to live with it :)

                      Is there any way to go back a version or install a prior version? I have the same calendar issue. The installation mentions git reset --hard, but I am not sure what that does.

                        It wasn’t truly infinite, I just have 8 Calendars so with 80 lines to display (the default 10/calendar) it ran off the bottom of the screen, behind the headlines and pushing the monthly calendar off the screen.

                          You can now setup on a per calendar basis, which I really like. I think it is a great imporvement.

                            IMHO, It will be better if there is still a global config limiting total closest event will be displayed.

                            regards,

                                Thanks, I was looking there, but now I see the “Source code (zip)” link! I just replaced the calendar module and now it is back to the way I want it.
