Ok. We can step forward somehow.
I’m not using Stretch so i cannot assure, but as i know, there is some problem for auto installation with Stretch. You can get detailed info by searching for it.
I suggest you to install Mm and dependencies manually instead of auto installer.

On a Pi? Raspbian Jessie, without a doubt in my mind.

On a PC? I’ve only used Windows 7 but it’s rock solid.

On a Compaq Presario CQ57? Ditch Windows and run it as a Linux machine. Install uBuntu and MM for best performance.

On a Core Duo MacBook? uBuntu v14.04 and MM run amazingly well.

On a Core 2 Duo iMac? Dual boot so you don’t lose a decent Mac OS. Install uBuntu along side the MacOS and MM will be very happy.

I’m using pure OSX for development. Except some specific features like GPIO, MM works well on OSX.

I ran into some problems with the iMac, MacOS 10.7.5, so I opted for the dual boot option. I’m sure a newer Mac with the latest OS is fantastic, but I’m stuck with what have
