    @maiky09 it is not VA. Check all monitors suitable for you in terms of size/price and check at other website which type of matrix these LCD have. As was said above, the best option is VA (Vertical Alignment)

      Look in the show your mirror, must say I’ve not had that problem with mine, SamsungTV with a RPI https://forum.magicmirror.builders/category/12/show-your-mirror

        I know it’s not VA, but I saw a tutorial recommending it, and the work went well. I hope it works for me.

          Finally, it depends on your environment where MM is used. So IPS (easy to get) could be enough Or even VA couldn’t. With low transparency of spymirror, 1:5000 contrast might not be satisfied at all on strong daylight condition.
          The only point I want to tell is to consider FHD (1920*1080). It is the max resolution which RPI can handle (but if you consider other SBC like ATB, RockPi, Odroid, Nvidia Jetson, … etc. 4K could be available). You may probably need more real-estate to show other cool info.
