MMM-MLB Scores not loading
-
I just installed it and it’s working. You’re missing a curly bracket (there should be two after logo:true) and you do need a comma after the closing curly bracket }
You can just copy and paste the below entry and paste it into your config if you like.
{ module: "MMM-MLB", position: "top_center", config: { // See "Configuration options" for more information. maxWidth: "400px", header: true, logo: true, // focus_on: ["Indians", "Braves", "Yankees"] } },

Hmmm. I just removed mine completely and pasted your example in and I’m still getting the same thing. For some reason the scores aren’t loading. Is there an API key or anything that I need to put in somewhere? Similar to what needs to be generated and installed for weather apps?

No sir, no API key necessary for this module. It doesn’t even require dependencies of any kind. You can do three things.

Post your config entry in a code block so that I can take a look at it. Click the </> icon above your message window when you are replying. It’s at the far right. Paste your code in the highlighted code_text that will appear. That will format your entry.

Start your mirror in the MM directory with the command
npm start dev
. This will open the Developers Tools window. Click the Console tab at the top left of the window. Scroll through the output looking for errors in red. Report here. -
Delete your current MMM-MLB folder from the modules folder and clone it again from https://github.com/cowboysdude/MMM-MLB. Then try it with my config example above.

Hey Mykle1, deleting the directly and re-cloning from Git did the trick. I now have the scores coming in regularly. Thanks a lot for your help!

Ahh, have fun!
