Hi, sorry about bringing back up this old post. I’m currently having issues with it, it’s displaying in the bottom with acquiring you weather but doesn’t go any further than that. I’ve checked the config as far as I can tell but I’m still having issues, would it be possible to have some help? Thanks

Please post your config entry for MMM-BMW-DS (in a code block) so I can take a look at it for you. It should look something like this:

You can also start your mirror using npm start dev. Click the Console tab in the window that opens (top left) and report any errors (appearing in RED). You may have to scroll

Glad you found your solution. I post below some of the things you can use in custom.css for anyone that cares.

Cool module as always. Is there a setting somewhere for the summary?

My bad, bro. Was supposed to be showing by default with the ability of hiding the summary via css. So, I made the correction and pushed it to the repo. Do a git pull in the MMM-BMW-DS or install as per the readme and the summary will be displayed by default.

Then, if you want to hide the summary you would add this to your custom.css file.

   display: none; 
}

With the end of DarkSky API, I’ve forked this and updated it to use PirateWeather. https://github.com/gonzonia/MMM-BMW-PW

All coding credit goes to @Mykle1 . I pretty much just changed the name and a URL. Pirateweather does not support languages though and that was removed.

@gonzonia any chance you might adapt it for Tomorrow.io (former ClimaCell) users too? :)

@Cr4z33 PirateWeather was easy because it uses the same format as DarkSky. If Tomorrow.io does as well then theoretically it could be easy to add a config setting for the URL along with the existing API key setting.

@Cr4z33 Yes, the data that us returned is in a different format. There may be some overlap, but overall it’s outside my skill set.
