For a customer of mine I created this magic mirror with a touchinterface. The frame is made from noble old oak. The project documentation can be found here: http://www.ijon.me/2016/12/11/magic-touch-mirror/

    finished mirror

          Very nice!! Love the oak!!

Question I have is what did they make the mirror out of so the touch panel still works? That’s what I’m about to build something exactly the same size!

Very nice, I really like your wood work.
            What size is the screen?

@cowboysdude google something like “IR Touch Frame” and matching products will show up. The touch part is just a frame that sits on top of the mirror. The TV is behind the mirror.

@ij0n Is the touch frame on your picture?

@Cato yes, but only in its mounted state. here you can see it better: http://www.ijon.me/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/2016-10-15-22.43.57-579x1030.jpg

due to the mirror it appears to be double as thick as it is. The one I used was 9mm thick.
