    How to Backup MagicMirror on Laptop with unbutu

      Hi Guys…
      how does it work with the backup when I install magic mirror on a laptop using unbutu?

      Do I have to do a backup the whole machine? ???

      with the Raspberry it is simply … backup the sd card and if something is broken, simply reload the backup and you’re done.

      Sorry for my Question thats everything new for me…🤗

        You can simply copy the MagicMirror folder to the external media of your choice. No need to backup the entire machine.

            Sorry for the stupid Question: Just copy the Folder - install nothing?
            Just copy the Folder to a fresh installed Raspbian?

              @Mondfisch do a fresh install off Raspbian than do a fresh install of Magic Mirror an than replace the MagicMirror folder with your Magic Mirror folder…that’s it.
