      Re: PIR Sensor - Sleep LCD monitor

      Hello.
      I found this interesting topic on the forum, but couldn’t find a solution to the “HDMI” screen popping up whnever I turn on my Screeen device.

      I’m using the standart board to use old Laptop screens.

      Any advices?

        @vongomben did you mean when u turn off?

        this is the energystar compliance in the monitor that says “oh no!, input is turned off, I will power off soon”

        no way to work around this. except to turn the monitor off
        not many ways to do that

          @vongomben Mine does it too. It flashes a couple times then goes off.

          @sdetweil is right… no way around that.

            @sdetweil ok.
            I still have the remote from the board, will check if there is a standby function there.
            Will update you here.

              there is no solution, other than to find a monitor that doesn’t do it.

              just about every display and tv shows some branding message during power on.

                this why my sleep/wake module hides all the modules instead of turning the display off.

                (and the fact that I can’t get it to turn off by software. but I can turn it on…)
