        @sdetweil Yea I cleared out the systemd services I tried to enabled. They are disabled and stopped. I also tried an rc.local startup file to run the .sh file which never worked. I know that’s depreciated but desperate times and desperate measures lol.

          @eightbit what device is this… you are using my install script which launches

          run-start.sh

          this is reserved for armv6 devices…
          can u check the autostart

          did you do this??? (answer should be no)

              @sdetweil Raspberry Pi 3 Model B Rev 1.2

              I did try to use systemd but it did not work so I disabled and deleted all the systemd attempts.

                                          DUDE YOU ARE THE ABSOLUTE BOSS!

                                          You may have even saved Christmas for my secret santa recipient. Thank you so much for helping me slog through this last piece of the puzzle. So it was a missing electron install after all? (And probably all my fuzzing around with the start up solutions)

                                            @eightbit yes… why it didn’t install, I have no clue…
                                            but it also showed the chromium problem which I hadn’t seen before…

                                            to restore the original package.json (with the correct start line) do

                                            cd ~/MagicMirror
                                            git checkout package.json

                                            glad we could fix it !
