This module is fantastic, thank you. I was wondering about getting weather for multiple areas. Is there a way to do that within the program or would I need to copy the directory to say, MMM-WunderGround2?
-
@Shockwave Thanks :) To use the module twice you can just enter multiple wunderground config sections in your config.js. It will then display both. There is no need to install the actual module twice.

@RedNax Hey thanks for the quick response! I have 2 locations up and running and great. Unfortunately I now have another question. There is a special weather statement for one of my 2 locations, and it popped up an alert which is really cool. However, the popup alert just said, Special Statement, which is just the subject text, for lack of a better description. Is that the expected behavior? Special Statement

 Quick question about this module and some of the icon classes. I found which ones I need to change for the high and low temperature in the custom.css file, which works great. What I can’t figure out is how come I can’t get sunset to change to orange, and sunrise to yellow. I am pretty sure its the right icon. .wi.wi-thermometer { color: #ff0000; /* Red */ } .wi.wi-thermometer-exterior { color: #0000ff; /* Blue */ } .wi.wi-umbrella { color: white; } wi.wi.sunset { color: orange; } wi.wi.sunrise { color: yellow; }
-
 Nevermind, I found it. .wi.dimmed.wi-sunset
 and
 .wi.dimmed.wi-sunrise

@Shockwave Sorry for the late reply… missed your post here… It’s not expected behaviour. The entire message should be displayed in the popup. It may have something to do with the alerttruncatestring : "english:"property… Try changing t to an empty string. Also, could you post the entire result of your api call? http://api.wunderground.com/api/<apikey>/conditions/forecast10day/astronomy/alerts/lang:EN/q/<value of your pws property>.json

  Couple of things… Wind icons.
Ive tried copyweather-icons-wind.cssto the vendor folder and changevendor.jswith no luck.
I also tried to changegetStyles:in theMMM-WunderGround.jsfile to use the...-wind.cssfile located in the module folder.Since its just the wind icons do i need to do anything special to use them? How can i remove Sunrise/Sunsetandmm(rain amount)
Im also wondering how to change the unitkm/tim(km/h Swedish translate) tom/s?As soon as i try to change anything to remove anything involved “Sunset” or “mm” everything breaks. I cant even remove /astronomyfromgetParams:. (Wich i believe is the wrong way to do it, But its better to try your way ahead then to hide in the corner.)I want it to look more like this ->
I had no problems changing the default weather modules this way, but since im a newbie i cant figure this one out. :P

 Hi @RedNax
Could you explain the ‘pws’ attribute a little please?
What’s ‘loctype’? Are there any other valid values?‘locid’ is giving a little trouble. I can’t find anything on Wunderground about it, but if I use the ‘Search Locations’ tool, and when my area comes up, pick a different station (one closer to where I am), the url changes to this:
 https://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findweather/getForecast?query=pws:IBATTLE3&MR=1
So I’ve put your example config into config.js, set my apikey, and changed the locid to IBATTLE3.I left the default weather module in the config file while I was getting your one set up, and when they were both on screen they seemed to be giving weather for two different places as the sunrise times were different by about an hour so I’m really not confidant that I’ve got the correct locid here… Many thanks.

Your api-url would be this: http://api.wunderground.com/api//conditions/forecast10day/astronomy/alerts/lang:NL/q/pws:IBATTLE3.json pws stands for personal weather station. Did you set your locale correctly in config.js? The sunset time for the wunderground module comes from the weatherunderground api so reflects the time at the weatherstation location. The loctype thing is a bit of a mystery. I copied it of a wunderground generated url. Not entirely sure what it’s for. You could just leave it out i think.

@Snoevit When you remove /astronomy you just modify the api call. The script still tries to place the (now absent) information on the screen. Leave the api call in tact and modify the refresh_dom function in the script. Also further down there’s a windspeedconversion which you could try to modify.
