      @incubik have you checked your Web inspector?

          I got my sensor and hooked it up, same problem.

          Yes, I am using node version 6.0. When I did the install that’s the version that was installed, I think the install script now installs an older version?

            I’ve tried to use PIN 26. In my electron errorlog, there was this msg:

            [Error: digitalRead: IsInt32(arguments['pin']) === false]

            So I went back to PIN 22 and now my mirror starts again. :-)

            EDIT:

            New idea -> Try without ’ ';

            {
            module: 'MMM-PIR-Sensor’,
            config: {
            sensorPIN: 2 ,
            }
            }

              @incubik I don’t use that browser, Google it :)
              @pugsly Node v6 is not supported at the moment.
              @Bangee yes, the pin has to be an int :) @incubik you also made that mistake!

                Ok, I will!

                Maybe it is a hardware problem? I’ve connected the PIR-sensor this way, is this correct?

                  @incubik Looks fine, the hardware does not influence the module behavior tough, you could also run it without something connected.

                    Ok, so if it doesn’t support v6, how can @Bangee made it work? I guess I should:

                    1. Uninstall NodeJS v6 and install v5
                      or
                    2. Delete the Sensor Module for now

                    ??

                      When I checked it did not work, maybe the dependencies were updated since then. If not install v5 :)

                        This PDF shows how to adjust your PIR Sensor.

                        Today, i don’t know why but after a few minutes the monitor turns off, but then it reactivates again without any motion in front of the mirror. Any sugestions?

                          @Bangee you can always try to add some logging to the code console.log("something") to see where it is triggered and if the script is the cause or something else :)

                              @Bangee Wait! That’s just all modules logging they received the notification, thats probably the same message over and over again logged by different modules.

                                @paviro will there be any chance to log what information the sensor is returning?
                                I’m not sure why my screen is alway going on and off, but i’ll get nervous…

                                  @Bangee Sure in the node_helper.js find the comment Detected movement and add console.log() so that it looks like the following:

                                  gpio.wiringPiISR(this.config.sensorPIN, gpio.INT_EDGE_BOTH, function(delta) {
                                          console.log(gpio.digitalRead(self.config.sensorPIN))
                                          ....
                                  }

                                    @paviro I dug out a junk-box PIR sensor. Everything is installed and no white-screen problems, but this sensor only puts out an “on” signal for about a second after motion is detected. Any way to make the mirror stay awake for some time (say 2-5 minutes) with that timer being reset on any motion signal? Then if nobody is in front of the mirror for awhile it goes off. Currently mine flickers off and on, not the ideal behavior.

                                      @jrleeman you should be able to change that by modifying the PIR-Sensor mine has the possibility to exactly adjust that :)
