PIR-Sensor - put your mirror to sleep if not used
-
I don’t have the sensor yet, but installed the module and put the entry into my config.js and when I start mm I get a white screen. Is that normal because I do not have the sensor hooked up yet?
-
This is awesome! I will definitely be using this when I get my mirror built.
-
@pugsly I am busy this weekend but I will check next week, for the time being check your web inspector for any errors and make sure there is no mistake in your formatting of the
config.js
file! -
@pugsly: Are you using Node v6? I had the same issue this weekend.
-
Hi! Im having the same issue as @pugsly. I do already have the PIR sensor connected but once I launch the MagicMirror the screen goes white.
This is what I have in the config.js:
{ module: "MMM-PIR-Sensor', config: { sensorPIN: '2' } }
Any thoughts? Thx!
-
There was a type on my message… sorry. This is what I have done:
{ module: 'MMM-PIR-Sensor’, config: { sensorPIN: ‘2’ } }

@incubik have you checked your Web inspector?
-
I have Raspbian install so Im using Epiphany. Does this browser has a web inspector? if so, where? Thx
-
I got my sensor and hooked it up, same problem.
Yes, I am using node version 6.0. When I did the install that’s the version that was installed, I think the install script now installs an older version?

I’ve tried to use PIN 26. In my electron errorlog, there was this msg:
[Error: digitalRead: IsInt32(arguments['pin']) === false]
So I went back to PIN 22 and now my mirror starts again. :-)
EDIT:
New idea -> Try without ’ ';
{ module: 'MMM-PIR-Sensor’, config: { sensorPIN: 2 , } }
