            @Mykle1 turns out I just messed up the screen location like an idiot which fixed the blank dashboard and the mic error went away as well as the BMW_CC not loading. but I still get no hdmi output on this 3b+ I wonder what the heck that could be could I have burned that out if everything else on the pi is running fine?

                @Mykle1 got 1080P back by setting
                hdmi_group=1
                hdmi_mode=16
                hdmi_boost > 6
                hdmi_ignore_edid = 0xa5000080
                hdmi_edid_file = 1

                in /boot/config.txt

                but now i get green flecks everywhere

                    :face_with_tears_of_joy: but thats what i do for a living, I build it or someone else does, then i break it and i fix it, lol

                    on another note, i guess i said too many unkown commands or somethings and a list of all the commands possible popped up and wont go away, any thoughts other than rebooting :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

                      In the terminal?

                      Type clear and enter
                      or
                      Close the terminal and open a new one

                        @Mykle1 Sorry to be bothering you again, decided to switch to my pi4b to see how it performs, and now the usb camera I had working on the pi3b+ will not work now, arecord -l lists it as card 2 device 0 and it still says error. Im at a lost npm start dev shows no errors and if I take the same config over to the 3b+ with the proper mapping it works fine

                        pi@MagicMirror:~ $ arecord test.wav

                                @snikolaidis before we get to MM with lucy, arecord must work

                                yes, it didn’t record cause it can’t do the default

                                arecord --format=S16-LE test.wav
