Hello, yeah I may be sounding thick, but how does one update all on MM running on a PC? The MM itself, and all modules?

I tried the usual Pi commands, but they are surely different?

cd MagicMirror -then git pull -then npm install

      sudo apt-get updateor even tried
cd MagicMirror > cd modules > cd MMM-WuderGround then type in git pull or
      In terminal, ~/MagicMirror/modules/MMM-WunderGround $
      and type git pull

      Thanks

cd MagicMirror -then git pull -then npm install

That should work. git commands and npm commands should work.

        sudo will not.

            try:

            git pull origin master

If you’re still having problems do this:

            sudo apt-get install git-all

            Then retry ‘git pull’…

Think I may just delete MM, and start afresh with virgin modules, then try and update again, and start adding my changes… see if it’s maybe me messing around has done something eh?

@Damian very possible you could have broke something. If the suggestions I gave you didn’t work… good idea, start over :) This time make backups of the files you are changing before you change them :)

Thanks, yeah for sure I will keep a “Master Files Folder” for all originals should something go weird?

As an aside, the updated compliments… on my Pi I noticed that they did not color since updating today, had a quick look and on comparing old file with updated file, there was a part missing … racking my brains to think the exact name, but it made reference to the CSS… so when I C&P that section from old file into new file, the compliments colored again!.. was this intentional to omit this or just an oversight from the dev?

I’m not really sure in all honesty. I have written most of my own modules and use none of the default ones.
