        First, do you know your LCD parts no or id?
        By Example,
        Dell Inspiron 1545 has 15.6" LCD - LP156WH2 (by LG Display) as a screen.
        It can be controllable with this;

        You need HDMI cable and 12 V 3 A DC Power Adaptor additionally.

          Buy a V29/V59/V56. They are universal and the firmware can be flashed using USB. The board with remote control (w/o inverter -> an extra 1-2€) are less than 10€ on Aliexpress. I have multiple of them. Disadvantage is that the doesn’t wake up via HDMI. I am using a relay to power on/off the screen via PIR-sensor.

                @mykle1 cause somne of the laptops are broken (water/juice/coffee). And some of the simply don’t start, but they are 5+ years and I don’t want to waste money to get them working

                • to place MB from laptop you need additional space.
