RE: How to set ipWhitelist for all device can acess to MagicMirror v2?
I seem to be fine, but do you recommend that I change anyway?

RE: How to set ipWhitelist for all device can acess to MagicMirror v2?
If having “/24” in my ipWhitelist works, should it be fine without changing to “/120” ? This has been confusing me lately, so any help would be appreciated.

RE: Displaying a gif file
Sorry, I just put it in wrong. That is why it didn’t work.

Displaying a gif file
Re: Displaying a Black and White .png Image
I have done the same as @MichMich suggested but with a gif file in the helloworld module. It doesn’t work though. Why is this?

RE: ipWhitelist HowTo
@mochman I have put “/24” in my ipWhitelist. Looking around the forum, I’ve seen that “/120” might help. What I have now seems to be working for my devices, so is there a difference between “/24” and “/120” that I should know about? Which is better?

RE: [Remote-Control] Shutdown, Configure and Update your MagicMirror
What is the difference between ::ffff:192.168.1.1/120 and ::ffff:192.168.1.1/24 ?

RE: How HOT Does it Get?
I just realized that I do have a heatsink, but it’s one for an old computer. Do they run mechanically or electronically? It might be just what I need. It won’t be ideal, but I can figure something out.

RE: [Remote-Control] Shutdown, Configure and Update your MagicMirror
@Jopyth What is the difference between develop and master version? Also, I probably sound dumb, but how do I change my ipWhitelist? Currently I have “::ffff:192.168.1.1/24” added. Do I need anything else? ( I would rather be able to access the mirror from any device )

RE: [Remote-Control] Shutdown, Configure and Update your MagicMirror
Is there anything I need to do to update instead of just putting “git pull” in ~/MagicMirror/modules/MMM-Remote-Control ?

RE: How HOT Does it Get?
It seems like I should be completely fine, and nothing should melt or get messed up. Is this right?

RE: How HOT Does it Get?
I am also assuming that it is okay for me to always keep the pi on (the display will mostly stay off, though). Someone please correct me if I am wrong because the last thing I need is my raspberry pi not being powerful enough to always stay active.

RE: How HOT Does it Get?
My case is ventilated, but I still might consider a tiny fan to make sure nothing happens anyway. I don’t use a heatsink. Either way, my raspberry pi shouldn’t ever get hot enough to melt the plastic, which melts at like 200°C in the 3d printer.

How HOT Does it Get?
I was wondering if it would be a good idea to put a small fan behind my mirror. I’ve noticed that my raspberry pi gets pretty hot quickly, so I thought I might need to cool it down since the 3d printed case around my pi is made out of biodegradable PLA plastic. I really wouldn’t want it to get too hot.

RE: [Remote-Control] Shutdown, Configure and Update your MagicMirror
Is it worth updating? I have been excited for this update, but I have waited to see if it would be better than the previous version. Since it appears that some people experience bugs, I might just stay with the version I have. Is this a smart choice?

Animated gif File
Is there a module that would allow me to put a moving picture on my mirror? I recall seeing posts related to installing a background picture there, but I would rather have a smaller animated gif picture. Is there any way for me to do this?

RE: HUGE FLAW IN MY PLAN
Never mind. It just doesn’t work with Microsoft Edge. Not a problem.

RE: HUGE FLAW IN MY PLAN
Everything’s fine except for the bottom section called Magic Mirror 2. When I click on it, there is just a black screen. How can I fix this? Is it just because I did it from Microsoft Edge?

RE: Wider Veriety of Modules For Different Kinds of People
Do you think I could use it with just one AirBar, or would I need to put 4 around my mirror? I guess it just depends on the size of the mirror itself. I’ll do more research, but it seems like this would be a low-cost way to add touchscreen to my Magic Mirror, so I’ll test it out.

RE: How To Add IFRAME Code to Calendar
That’s cool. I also found a website where I can just get the .ics file, so I’ll play around with it, and see what works.
