@ember1205 There are three locations where the screensaver might be starting from, and only one of them is actually run (I believe the first found in this order):

/home/pi/.config/lxsession/LXDE-pi/autostart
/etc/xdg/lxsession/LXDE-pi/autostart
/etc/xdg/lxsession/LXDE/autostart

Raspbian recently changed to not having the first one, so the second is now the preferred method.

Mine’s just a screen in my kitchen. I never used a mirror for it. It’s just a family information Center.

You could probably write a script to pull a random picture from there and display it. I’ll give it a go when i get some time and will report back if successful.

@wireshark Try something like this in your ~/MagicMirror/css/custom.css file:

    font-size: 25px;
    font-family: "Roboto Condensed", sans-serif;
}

Note that I just picked that size (25px) out of the air; I have no idea what the default size is. You’ll have to experiment. Also not sure if the size option will even work (although I know the font-family option does).

I love this module, but have a few requests:

1. I’d like to get rid of the pin. I want to make it more professional looking.

2. What css should I use in custom.css to left-align the text in the memos? I can’t figure out what to use.

3. You should add a different font option. I had to override it custom.css.

I’m having the same problem. My zip code comes up fine in the web site. Is there a log somewhere that would tell me what the problem is?

Multiple displays? What kind of information is going to be on them? Or is it just one in the middle?

Another request for you to post your css for calendar_monthly…I’m not having much luck getting it formatted widely enough.
