I still have a mirror with the dimensions 0.8 x 0.5 m and polished edges from the last order left, because the user has not paid. The mirror is already packed and could therefore be sent immediately :)

the amount is 165,40 €
Which consists of the following costs:
• Mirror price: 142,00 €
• Polished edges: 23,40 €

• Shipping costs

please let me know if anyone is interested :)

unfortunately not, because a freight forwarder would explode the costs. if you want to organize a shipment by forwarding by yourself, that would of course be possible

Has anybody tried to also place light behind the mirror, something like this, or will the light ‘bleed’ into the rest of the mirror?
I want to place a screen of course, but it would great to also be able to integrate the light itself, without “breaking” the surface.

as far as I know, nobody has tried it yet. but if the light source is directly on the mirror, that should not be a problem at all. A dazzling of light in other regions is excluded.If necessary, close the light gap with electrical tape from the back, then definitely nothing goes wrong :)

Since the User @sdetweil unfortunately currently can’t help me, here is my plan:

I would like to change the code of Philipp Trenz (https://github.com/philipptrenz/photo-booth) so that the application works as follows:

1.       Instead of the gallery / slideshow it should run any mp4 video (random principle) from a folder called “screen saver” in continuous loop. It should run the same video in the loop until the Push-Button is triggered.

2.       After pressing the Push-Button to trigger the photo it should play five different 1 second long mp4 videos / gif animations (random principle) after the row from folders called “Countdown 5”, “Countdown 4”, “Countdown 3”, “Countdown 2” and "Countdown 1 ". This ensures that the countdown is always personalized and never boring.

3.       After the existing “screen flash” it should play a mp4 video / gif animation (random principle) from a folder called “compliments” instead of the loading bar. This video/animation should play until the image has been processed and can be displayed.

4.       The finished image should be displayed for 10 seconds. At the same time, the finished image should be saved in the online gallery (that makes the program already, I just want to limit it to the 10 seconds)

5.       Then the Raspberry Pi should jump back into the screensaver (see point 1).

That depends on the interest of the users. I will set the next days a new thread, which will run without time limit. The order will then remain open until a certain number of users have registered.

The mirrors have now all arrived at their respective recipients :)

PS: I would also like to express a little annoyance. Unfortunately, there is someone among the customers who has ordered a mirror from me and has several times put off the payment and hast always promsed the transfer. Since I did not want to keep waiting the other users who paid on time, I paid his mirror out of my own pocket to complete the order. Now he does not answer anymore and I sit on the mirror and on the money I have paid.

So if a user needs a mirror of 0.8x0.5m with polished edges, I have one ready pack left.
