Maybe open another socket on port :8081 and have that be the web configuration interface? Dunno, just throwing out ideas …which can always be thrown out. :)

Interesting as I didn’t have to do that as a separate step. However, as I posted in a different thread yesterday, keeping the base software on your Raspberry Pi is important.

Those of you wanting a Weekly Calendar view, please continue the discussion on the Weekly Calendar thread, and those of you wanting a monthly view can continue the discussion here.

This thread got very long and encompasses two different things:

• The request to make a weekly calendar view, which then turned into
• Another request for a plain (empty) monthly view as well.

The latter has been addressed, and is for all intents and purposes, ready. However, it no longer applies to the original post’s request. So I’m going to split this up into two separate threads. I’ll try to move the relevant posts around and clean things up a bit (if possible.)

For that matter, you can use node the same way MM uses it. It is running MM as a web page. From a different computer on your network, try visiting 'http://your-rpi-ip-address:<port>' (where is what you have configured in your config.js, or the default 8080.)

Not to my knowledge. Where would you run that web interface from though? The rPi itself? On a different machine (that remotely talks to the rPi?)

Seriously though, this is coming from decades of being in the field of computers, coding, working with electronics, designing my own stuff … you tend to pick up a thing or two over the years. Then you start to forget them as you start losing your hair … It’s a harsh reality.
