Can’t tell if sarcasm
I’ll stick with my pi3 for now, have another project in mind for the zero
Keep checking out thepihut, they keep getting stocks of zeros in

Could you post the finished “product” wired up?
Just wanting to visualise how it would look.
Fantastic work by the way, I’m now this could be used in stead of the PIR sensor to activate and deactivate the monitor.
Or even instead of the camera/ facial recognition module to switch between profiles!
Update: I’ve just switched the card back, and it’s working on the Pi3 with no issue
Hi,
I have installed MM2 on my Pi3 and everything was working fine.
I was then lucky enough to pick up a zero, so have switched the SD cards round so the MM card is now in the zero.
When I try to start it, nothing happens. No error, no message, nothing.
Is there something I am missing? Do I need to do a fresh install on the zero?
I have tried node serveronly too from the MagicMirror directory, and I get Illegal instruction
When I enter sudo node serveronly, nothing happens again.
Any help or thoughts you may have would be appreciated.
Thanks
@paviro Did you have any thoughts, or make any headway on using this for facial recognition and also replicating the PIR module too?
@Bangee I’m not quite sure what the your images are showing
Has anyone tried this place? https://www.cutplasticsheeting.co.uk/mirrored-sheeting/two-way-acrylic-mirror
Pretty decent price for the size I need (~£30)
I’ve just ordered a Pi Zero, so was wondering whether MM2 would run fine on that?
I’m guessing / hoping so, as this will allow me to use my Pi3 for something else.
Thanks
@paviro Awesome!
Thanks for all your work!
I’m still getting my modules sorted, and need to build my frame etc.
I’d love to incorporate facial recognition and sleep on my mirror though
Would it be possible to use this, but also make it wake up the mirror too?
I’d like to use facial recognition to load personal modules, but I don’t want to hook up a PIR sensor too
@paviro Although when I use ‘week’ as the list, it seems to have stopped working :cold_sweat:
Just to add my comment to this, I am making using of an IFTTT recipe to link my gmail calendar to Wunderlist.
It creates the relevant to do item with a due date, so I’m only showing this items on my mirror.
