So ended up updating npm to resolve the grunt/mini match issues and now all is working in perfect harmony again. No issue at all with remote control in the first place but instead having to update MM and in turn update npm!

RE: [MMM-Remote-Control] Getting 404 on "get?data=translation"
same issue after npm install so decided to update MM as I had not yet done this. That broke the mirror and gave me a bunch of issues with grunt and mini match and a bunch of other stuff that said it was needing to be updated… tackling them all 1 at a time now :)

No, just git pull. I’ll try that and report back

RE: Calender module - icloud calender?
@fox sorry, it is technicially a “public” calendar. I shared it with myself and used that address. No one is going to be able to get access without that URL so I guess it depends on what you define public vs private.

RE: Calender module - icloud calender?
@fox said in Calender module - icloud calender?:
So its not possible to include a private calendar from icloud?
Mine displays an iCloud calendar with no problem.

Slickric's Magic Mirror
So I finally got the time to sit down and bang this thing out. Went with reflective film on glass due to crazy cost of 2 way mirrors in Australia. There are a few really small air bubbles and at some point I’ll look to reapply and spend a bit more time to make it more perfect. happy with the finished product and now to look into motion sensor and adding timing for it to turn off/on at set times. Bunch of pics located here and a few below :)

RE: Mirror Pricing
@clumsy_ninja consensus is that Australia is really expensive for 2 way mirrors and you’re better off applying reflective film to a piece of glass. https://forum.magicmirror.builders/topic/559/two-way-mirror-suppliers-australia

RE: [Remote-Control] Shutdown, Configure and Update your MagicMirror
@Jopyth #facepalm as expected it was me that was the problem. Got the below errors in console which made me realise immediately that for some rediculous reason I changed the name of the folder from “MMM-Remote-Control” to just “remote”. Obviously it couldn’t find the CSS and js files because I changed the folder :/ renamed and all working perfectly. Great work with the module and massive thanks for the help!
