The remote control module is not working for me to any extent, when I whitelist the IPs for my school’s wifi (following the HowToWhitelistIP thread’s directions) in every way stated, I get the “this device is not allowed to access…” message. Then, when I allow all IPs access I get the “cannot get remote/html” message. Any help would be great! Thanks!

@McSorley Did you glue the frame to the box? If so, how far did you offset it from the wood to create the lip?

@bhepler Thank you! I did this and it reset my config file, and that booted up fine, but when I put my information in, and started it:
cd MagicMirror
npm startI got the "WARNING? Could not validate config file. Please correct syntax errors. Starting with default configuration.”
Then load it said “Please create config file.”

@cowboysdude Thank you, I ran that through my code and there appears to be no problems…I just can’t figure out what the problem is…I boot the mirror up normally by going:
cd Magic Mirror
npm startand then I get the “WARNING? Could not validate config file. Please correct syntax errors. Starting with default configuration.”
and then when it loads the “Please create config file.”
