@evansmb if the file is ‘remote’ you MUST use http:// if u want to pull it from a ‘file’, that is on a cloud .‘drive’ then the file MUST be in the compliments folder… u can link to the remote of course… so the choices are file in the compliments folder (or a symlink from teh compliments folder to the real source) or remotefile, requires http://someserver/somefile

@sdetweil That wa the ticket. Ran npm install on that module, said it installed 2 components which I took as a positive sign. Un-commented the module in config.js and running well.

@bradley1982 Did use pm2 for example ? Then you could try to use the command: “pm2 logs ” (most of the times mm.sh) to check the logs. Could you try to share those logs so we can take a look?

@bugsounet Thank you! If it crashes again, I’ll start by disabling 1/2 of the modules until I find the problem. This could take days, hope I don’t have to 😐

Looked at the console of the dev window, detailed message being: Electron Security Warning (Insecure Content-Security-Policy) This renderer process has either no Content Security Policy or a policy with “unsafe-eval” enabled. This exposes users of this app to unnecessary security risks. For more information and help. Consult https://electronjs.org/docs/tutorial/security This warning will not show up once the app is packaged.

@tippon no problem. I actually just caught that a few hours ago and I’ve been trying to figure out how to fix it. According to oneweathermap with my current settings. The temperature is correct 97, but where I’m currently at it is 102 what’s funny about it is when you look at the map on their website. My area is not listed so I don’t know where it’s getting it’s coordinates from and no matter what coordinates I use it always comes up with the same temperature that oneweathermap wants to use so I’m confused. ps I was actually getting ready to send you a message letting you know that I was no longer using the default whether I’m new at all this so I’m learning as I’m going so I hope everyone is patient with me. I even got a another message going about Gmail Anyway, I appreciate all your help and I’m always looking for suggestions

Hello everyone, I have the same issue as @spoonek and don’t have a custom.css yet. It would be awesome to elaborate on potential solutions together! :flexed_biceps:

@cq0q said in Hello-Lucy Module Microphone not working: it just fixed by itself Magic! @sdetweil is correct. Hello-Lucy is a stripped down version of MMM-voice (removed most of its functionality) and added the ability to hide and show individual modules and pages of modules. Simplified the process of adding any module to this functionality. Modules can share regions. Etc, The recognition is average at best. Lucy (and voice) have trouble with certain accents, Norwegian in particular, (My friend can attest to that). Even I had some early trouble with non-recognition and/or false positives. I’ve learned ‘how’ to speak to Lucy after quite some time using her (3 years?). She also likes a completely quiet environment. With that said, she will never be as accurate, or work as well, as an Alexa or Google device. Lastly, I don’t use Lucy on a Pi. The pi’s inherent delay is too aggravating and frustrating. Now, using Lucy on more robust hardware is quite a different experience. Very satisfying, for me at least.

@freland client mode is just the browser w no modules. so same problem you need some code to read/react to a sensor somewhere, and then inform some code on the client machine to turn off the display. a node-red server in the background could still do all that. it’s just more than a dumb client

@levon yes, we didn’t get the all in one building network if u only want to display one page, then u don’t need MM at all. mm is intended to allow you to combine multiple info sources on the same page at the same time.
