I followed the instructions here for the git pull and npm install with no errors.

In my config file I place this but all I get is a blank screen.

@sifuhall You won’t get anything until the UK football team has a game, which won’t be for a few weeks. Until then, this module displays nothing.

@sifuhall this sounds like the the missing libraries problem. when the screen is blank, can u show the message at mm startup?

if using pm2, use
pm2 logs --lines=100

Yes, this was it exactly. Once I added the request module everything was fine.

However, I do have one question.

How can I add the West Ham United Football Club?

@Egnos looks like the provider changed their API. so the module will have to be changed

I tried to do the recommended fix but nothing has changed.

I opened a problem on GitHub as you advised me, I await an answer.

@Egnos but that PR fixes the wrong provider… the espn provider is broken

the error u posted

data for provider ESPN: Error: getaddrinfo ENOTFOUND site.api.espn.com

that module is 5 years old… these providers change things every year…

Sorry folks that I haven’t been around to fix this. There URL for the ticker changed for the SportsNet provider. I’ll be publishing a fix in the cominn g days, but if you want to address it now, make a change in the file providers/SNET.js.

Change line #122 from

    var url = "https://d290qmen6zswb.cloudfront.net/ticker?day=" + this.gameDate.format("YYYY-MM-DD");

to

   var url = "https://mobile-statsv2.sportsnet.ca/ticker?day=" + this.gameDate.format("YYYY-MM-DD");

This should get you back up and running until I publish the official fix.

From my standpoint, the only thing that stopped working for me were any of the feeds that used the Sportsnet provider. But I am seeing some anecdotal reports of the ESPN provider also not working? Could anyone provide some examples of this? ESPN is working for me as-is.
