      @EttVenter can you go into the cloned directory and run npm install manually, hopefully we get a more detailed error log then

      Please create a github issue if you need help, so I can keep track

        Sure thing. Here’s the result:

        pi@raspberrypi:~/MagicMirror $ npm install
        npm ERR! cb() never called!
        pi@raspberrypi:~/MagicMirror $

          Ok guys. So I nuked my previous raspbian install, and got a new one going. Managed to get an update node install, so things SEEM to be going better. Tried to install magic mirror again, and it went well until right at the end, when I got this:

          pi@raspberrypi:~/MagicMirror $ npm install
          npm WARN prefer global coffee-script@1.10.0 should be installed with -g
          npm WARN prefer global jsonlint@1.6.2 should be installed with -g
          npm WARN prefer global colorguard@1.2.0 should be installed with -g

          And when I try to do a npm start, I get:

          pi@raspberrypi:~/MagicMirror $ npm start

          > magicmirror@2.1.0 start /home/pi/MagicMirror
          > electron js/electron.js

          /home/pi/MagicMirror/node_modules/electron/index.js:9
            throw new Error('Electron failed to install correctly, please delete node_modules/' + path.basename(__dirname) + ' and try installing again')
            ^

          I feel like I’m getting closer to making this thing actually work though. Any ideas?
