    Hello all,

    Very inspired by this project.
I want to buy a good two way -real glass- mirror, any advice on a good supplier? I see different suppliers but i want good transparrancy, some only have 1 percent. Thanks.

@kingofsnake Where do you live? I’m in Canada and I needed to go to a glass supplier to get mine. As my mirror is large (460mm X 1500mm ) it was expensive, as I couldn’t find one that manufactured it locally. It needed to be imported, then cut to size.

If your mirror is small, then you can likely use this cost-effective option:
      https://smartmirrors.ca/products/two-way-acrylic-mirror-thin

If you live in the US, then you have some options available:
      https://www.twowaymirrors.com/
      https://www.tapplastics.com/product/plastics/cut_to_size_plastic/two_way_mirrored_acrylic/558

Hopefully other people can comment on other parts of the world.

As far as transparency is concerned, you want about 15-20% light transmission, unless your mirror is going to be in a dark room, in which case you can get away with lower. If your mirror will be in direct sunlight, then you might need more light transmission.

@kingofsnake I just noticed that the topic subject says Netherlands! Next time I’ll do a better job reading.

@kingofsnake as a beginning builder in NL i am interested too. Maybe we could team up if the goods need to come from abroad.

@Arjen @WebSpider I believe Two way mirrors does actually ship internationally, at least that’s what their website says! Best of luck!

Also from the Netherlands. I’ve got no idea where to buy a two way mirror. Some people said: https://www.pyrasied.nl/product/doorkijkspiegel/ But I don’t think that’s the right place.

@malibu you can order from Germany. There are a few shops. I think shipping will be supported.
