Raspberry Pi 4 Released !

hmmmm. somewhat expensive (only in Germany?)
Recently I’ve purchased several stronger alternatives - Khadas Edge-V around $100, NVIDIA Jetson nano $100 also.
I will buy this one also for test, but could it be better than those? -

Raspberry
What about the Ethernet is it shared with the USB? 4GB of Ram that is my dream! That means I can do away with the 12 hour Cron job 😁

Ethernet is not shared as far as I can tell

I will buy this one also for test, but could it be better than those?I was going to buy it from Germany too thinking at the good prices I got for the Pi 3 B, but at this round for some reason it is WAY cheaper (EUR 59 + shipping) to buy it from Italy for me.
However let’s see what comes out with MagicMirror once I get it delivered (they say 24h) especially by using the new Raspbian Buster… :crossed_fingers_medium_skin_tone:

They will be R910 in South Africa when they arrive which makes them around 56 Euro.
-
Anyone know if you can just boot off of the usb from an SSD?
-
I was so hyped by this unexpected message I needed to order one (the 4gb of course).
Please mind that it’s going to have a new kernel and current Raspbian Stretch will presumably not work on this one. A new Raspbian (Buster) has already been released. So we’ll have to see if MM runs on it without problems…

@dazza120 yes.
You can read here a very good article about all the good things it can do and how the Pi 4 is performing compared to the previous generation. :)
