This usually happens when there is an error in the config.js entry for this module.
country, regionState and city
options cannot contain spaces. It is stated in the example config of the repo. This is most common mistake. Please post your config entry in a code block.
Module is working as expected.

You are absolutely right, sir. The module/widget does accept “None” in the
regionState:
config option and fixes that issue rather nicely. This is the first I’ve heard of that problem. Thank you for bringing it to my attention. And thanks for the solution. I went to the url and confirmed. -
problem solved-it was the none required in state!thanks for the assistance

Update to Version 1.0.1
Updated module and fixed config so that underscores are no longer necessary in config options
country, regionState and city.
Also, when
regionState
is not necessary for your location (Ex. Toulon, France), simply leaveregionState
blank.disabled: false, module: 'MMM-ISS', position: 'middle_center', config: { country: "United States", regionState: "New York", // Outside USA may not need regionState. If so, leave blank "". city: "New York", ...
disabled: false, module: 'MMM-ISS', position: 'middle_center', config: { country: "France", regionState: "", // Outside USA may not need regionState. If so, leave blank "". city: "Toulon", ...

Perfect !
-
In case anyone would like to use this module for multiple locations, simply add another config entry.
-
would it be possible to restrict the times it updates? say once an hour during the day and every 30 seconds when sightings are possible?
-
The default
updateInterval
is5 * 60 * 1000
(5 minutes). You can adjust this in your config. As the module only displays the next flyover, setting the updateInterval to 30 seconds would not change the information being displayed by the module. With that, I have no plans to make those changes but you are free to fork the module and make any changes you like. -
any ideas why the iss module has started displaying like this?-!
both modules are in lower_third but the same thing happens wherever i move them, if i move iss to bottom_left for instance it will overlap the news feed in bottom_bar
